I spearheaded the creation of a disruptive direct mail (DM) campaign for the Formula 1 season kick-off. The concept centered around the starting grid lights, and upon pulling out the DM, the lights mimicked turning off, symbolising the commencement of the race and prompting users to return to Sky.

With the launch of the highly anticipated House of the Dragon, this would be the perfect opportunity for Sky to attract and win-back customers. The idea was to create a disruptive DM that would persuade the recipient to re-join Sky.

With the help of our print partner, The Lettershop Group, we were able to produce a DM that gave the sensation of ‘touching’ a dragon. We achieved this by applying a texture onto the face of the dragon, giving it a scaly-like sensation when touched.
